Which raises the question:

Is that the input shaft or are you just happy to see me?

TheMiniMan - December 11th, 2009 at 01:08 AM

nice box ,,,, but it`s missing the crutch fork :-)

Husband--> """Hi honey i`m home... What`s for dinner?""""

Wife---> """Eat my box"""

:-)

dangerous - December 11th, 2009 at 05:14 AM

"Why is my box so smelly?"

"Because its full of gear oil!"

NuZo - December 11th, 2009 at 05:01 PM

i can see the caption for this photo...

"after a rough night of driver her around, he finally shredded her 2nd gear! but thats ok, she has 3 others!!"

HappyDaze - December 11th, 2009 at 05:13 PM

You've started something here! Who is having the 'final drive'?......or is that just a matter of a pinion?

Cheers, Greg

Sides - December 11th, 2009 at 05:17 PM

... but if the pinion isn't installed in the traditional spot... well, then you'll need some 'extreme pressure' lubricant....

HappyDaze - December 11th, 2009 at 05:22 PM

What about a nice lap? A little ' wine ' wouldn't go astray, anyway.

Vw nutter - December 14th, 2009 at 10:03 PM

you'd get alot of box for $9k

STIDUB - December 14th, 2009 at 10:36 PM

this even has the other half laughing, that said she knows what im like & has met db & sides before so understands the jokes, this thread rules

raises the query though, is it really pink in the middle?

vw54 - December 15th, 2009 at 06:01 AM

I like to try my pinion in all different sopts,
but it always seems to whine.
It must be something to do with the enormous size.

HappyDaze - December 15th, 2009 at 08:28 AM

Sounds like all torque, probably just a half-shaft! Is that in your CV?

Laverda Bomber - December 15th, 2009 at 11:18 AM

Me Japanese Vee Dubberoo fan.
Do these come wiv wet crutch or dry crutch???
No likee dry crutch like on Ducati.
Sounds like roose marbles in box...

DubCty - December 15th, 2009 at 08:18 PM

In any case, always check the rubbers before mounting the box!

Judging by the size of her box,Dave would be the only one on this forum that could install his shaft without it being a sloppy fit.....

valdur - December 16th, 2009 at 07:17 AM

Nice

HappyDaze - December 16th, 2009 at 08:39 AM

Just check your CV again - any sign of 'big balls' ?

1303Steve - December 16th, 2009 at 09:48 AM

Don't install input shaft without properly lubricating all components 1st

DubCty - December 16th, 2009 at 02:42 PM

Extreme caution must be used when aligning the input shaft as poor alignment may result in catastrophic shaft failure!

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE - December 17th, 2009 at 10:21 PM

Caption should read " I have tight seals for no leakage whatsoever with a money back guarantee but if you damage the teeth of my box it will cause you some financial pain"
