Ok so Queensland Transport has gone through Wicked campers and taken nearly all of them off the road.

These are all Japanese mini vans, so what does BigPond show on their news(?) a split window kombi !!

Thats funny cause ive just got back from holidays nd i thought i would see heaps of them down there but didnt see any, this is probably why

Nice spot, left hand drive. You would think BigPond would know better as their main advertising promotion features a split window kombi.

Telstra's left hand wouldn't know what the right hand is doing.

The Wicked Camper story is on page 2 of today's (Monday's) Daily Telegraph. At least there is no photo of a VW Kombi - no photo at all in fact.

Apparently Wicked Campers have 944 vehicles in their fleet, with 611 registered in QLD and the rest in NSW and VIC. They also have a subsidiary in New Zealand. Their owner/director John Webb is quoted as saying "In the past year we voluntarily took 50 vans off the road, being less than 5% of our fleet. We plan to put 500 new vans on the road this year, and will replace any pre-2004 models."

So that rules out any old Kombis. Hopefully they'll replace all their old Japanese vans with brand new VW T5s - but I doubt it.

IMHO, they should all be landfill with the weed-seeking middleclass euro-trash that has no fkin idea what 'clean up yer fkin' mess means. They should be banned from National Parks and Beaches. Mr Webb needs to get a fkin clean up bill, the piece of crap L300s are just part of the problem.

I love em, there's heaps of em on the roads I travel and they always bring a smile to my face reading the "grafity', best one I've seen is ..........how about an Ausie kiss it's like a French kiss but down under" LMGO.

DylanTheDubber - January 11th, 2010 at 08:35 PM

What idiots like WTF thats a splitty bus not even a bay window camper and they dont even have vw wicked vans and the closest i have seen to a vw wicked van was a mitsubishi one with herbie 53 and stripes down it lol.

Wicked campers, god love them and the euro Boobs (tits) that ride in them. I work in Byron Bay once a week and see heaps of them. And the euro trash save heaps driving them and spend the cash at your local and round towns all up the east coast.

yup roads are littered with them around here

there are some cleverly painted ones around though

saw this one in byron a few months back, got a bit of a giggle out of it

muff management
