It is with much sadness that I need to ask the Volksie community a favour for a friend just passed. Craig Lindner from Beaudesert was tragically in an
accident on his property last Sunday evening, when the homemade buggy he was driving rolled down a very steep incline killing him instantly.
Craig was a dear friend and one of the jolliest blokes around and will be sadly missed by his friends and family. He has had many Vdubs over the years
and was certainly partial to Kombis having only owned Type II's. The camp on the hill at Warwick pit return rd will never be the same without our
good mate Craig.
His wife Leigh and two children have asked if the VW community could spare the time, all would be welcome to participate in a drive-by convoy after
the service which starts at 11 o'clock at St Mary's Catholic Church, in Beaudesert this Friday
WOW.... sorry to hear this
sad very sad we are loosing good blokes faster than they can replaced
i'm in sydney and would be there if i could
an old friend told me once
IF YOU CAN'T CRY FOR A FRIEND THAN WHAT GOOD ARE THEY
Matt,
Sorry to hear about your mate and please pass on my condolences to Craig's family and friends. I'm sure there will be many VW owners willing to
help and show their respect.
Kev and family
Matt,I'm lost for words but I'll be there.
Thanks everyone for your kind words. Our thoughts are with his family now.
Here is a link to Craig on the right at Warwick in his favorite position viewing the racing with Darryl. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ns7cGWxUn_U
The Volksi convoy will be heading to the family farm just out of Beaudesert for some refreshments in Craigs honour. Any Volksies are welcome to come
and I thought around 12.30-1.00 ish we would be departing from the church. For sure Tony's aqua/white 2 tone semi offroad bus and my blue T3 panel
will be heading the que.
Matt, I am really sorry to hear such sad news. Deepest sympathies and condolences to Craig's wife and family, would be a very very difficult time for
everyone right now.
Al
Troy told me about this on monday as he has had dealings with Craig through work when he was at the Reece Jimboomba store or something along the
lines.
