thats beautiful......
That would look great in my garage
Man that is beautiful. Sounds reasonably priced.
Looks great, and original (unfortunately)...
Cheers for sharing
It hurts to see something that good and not be able to
do anything about it...
Haven't seen a better one
Perfect for a SUBY transplant
Kerry is not supportive of my interests. I have to go and watch her dance concerts but she wont let me have this.

Well !! Birchall !! no comment !! or from any vintage collector .
One lovly car , lowered , nice wheels , done .
great looking car
It's a beautiful car. I don't know when VWs first went on sale in New Zealand but it could be they started a couple of years before us.
You would be CRAZY to modify it in any way. Keep it standardand immaculate. Put it on Historic Rego and only bring it out for VW shows. It belongs in
a museum.

pffft!
needs struts
Perfect for a front engined v8 transplant
I know you're kidding, but they've already made a VW with a front-engined V8 transplant (actually a W8) - the Passat W8 of 2001. It also has struts...
you could do some nice reversable mods to that thing to really make it a sweet ride like some 17" BRMS, an adjustable beam thats NOT F'KING
NARROWED!! and a mild engine that fits with no hacking
its too plain as it is
whats wrong with cruising along in the left lane with 25 brutal horses behind you? Plenty of factory fucked up 1302/3 beetles out there to destroy.
if I had a car as sweet as that (of any make/model) I dont reckon I'd be driving it too much anywhere. Too many other cars/drivers out there only too
willing to destroy it in an instant.
BTW I'll be parking my falcon at coniston tomorrow if anyone happens to be cruising around in a bulldozer
i'll keep an eye out for it
i regularly cruize the streets of wollongong in my D6
PS may the struts be with you
Very nice car.So worth the money
That looks great and seems cheap !
I wouldn't touch it - the fuel pump, carby and voltage regulator need to be replaced with correct items.
Being RHD, it most likely was assembled in Ireland or South Africa as a CKD kit.
