Polishing Cookie's
spdterence - February 8th, 2010 at 08:39 PM

Anyone polished a set of cookie cutters? I have seen a few pics on finished cars and they can look good.

How are they finished? do they coat them in clear? or do you need to keep polishing them.

is this a job best left to the professionals? Any thoughts welcome. Terry

Hmmmmmm Ceramic, that might be interesting.
Bit different.
Not too much bling.
But is it bling enough?
Should homeboys in evo's be trusted in such matters?

I had a polished set on my first car. although the pics are very ordinary you get the idea. Obviously would have liked a set of detailed fuchs but i did not mind them. I was running the deep dish rears.

From memory it cost me $300 10yrs ago (front of the rims only) , the polisher talked me out of clear coating incase it got scratched etc. The maintenance was not horrific (maybe a 20-30 min job) but another job non the less.
