What would my 48mm IDF Webers be worth
Camo - March 20th, 2010 at 07:52 PM

Hi all,

I thought this was the best place to post this as I am only thinking about selling these and going to EFI, pending my cost to upgrade.

It would be for a completed bolt on kit - 48mm IDF webers, manifolds, air filters, ram tubes and linkage. As per this photo.

So what do you think I could get for them ????

Cheers, Kev

I know they will cost more, but just trying to work out what I would get for these to put towards the cost of EFI.

Anyone else know what they might be worth ???

Thanks, Kev

ok - my guess is $1000 for a quickish sale to $1,500 if your lucky and will rejet to buyers requirements

Gracey - March 21st, 2010 at 01:47 PM

My opinion - $700 to $1000

VDUBXTC - March 21st, 2010 at 03:11 PM

$1,000 at Top $$$

Thanks guys for the feedback. If someone has $1000 now, they can have them. I have something partially lined up that I was thinking about and if I get $1000 for mine I have the extra money for get the EFI :starhit:

Just to confirm as I have had someone PM whom is very interested, this is only if my deal on the EFI comes off. I dont want to be left without any fuel system.

Ta, Kevin

Are these italian, spanish or china IDF's Camo?
That makes for a big variance in price I feel.

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE - March 22nd, 2010 at 08:10 PM

If they are Italian you will get the $$ for them. The cheap copies not so.....

Dave it wasn't aimed at you, i didnt even notice the missing v !! I was just wondering what the answer is to your question !

Camo - March 31st, 2010 at 12:53 PM

Dave and Craig,

They are made in Spain.

But I was only thinking of selling them if I went EFI, but that fell through. It was a second hand kit and the ECU involved was a fuel only type and I wanted ignition also for future boosting :starhit:

I would love to buy new EFI system but I dont have money to spare and have spent enough already.

Thanks, Kev
