I got this in an email today, it's one of those gotta see it to believe it things
i couldnt be arsed copying all the captions but pics speak for themselves.
its a tugboat pushing a barge full of coal down a flooded and swollen river in alabama and it came to a low opening bridge which didnt open.
barge went under fine but tug hit the bridge, spun sideways then the strong current just pulled it down under the bridge
in one of those kodak moments it pops up from the otherside, water pissing out of every door/window, engines still running and captain that would need
a change of underwear
even the flag ontop of the wheel house is still flying when it comes back up
wow... flip! that would have been crazy knowing it wouldnt be able to stop!
That's amazing. The current is really traveling, but who'd think it would push that tug right under....maybe the tug captain avoids bridge fees by not opening the bridge.....?????
ok.... so i just noticed, it comes out the other side...... ummmm. WOW!! i thought it came back out on the same side!
