Decal origins? (got pic now...!)

I was wondering if anyone out there knows of any info of this decal on my '54. The previous owner claims it is as old as the car... i dunno.. Any comments?

since ur new here u may not know to reduce jpg size to under 50kb, otherwise they wont show up...

I copied properties to see if could see it but i think try to host pic from e drive on there computer !!!

It looks as tho he has linked it to his HD. Thus we can only see it when he is online...........
U need to find a web host to uplaod your pics to and THEN use the given url to link the pic here ....

YEs its an Origional sticker and they were made by VW many years ago.

They were origionally a water transfere that you had to soak in water and then apply to the glass

These have been reproduced in recent years and the sticker has a clear backing that has sticky surface so it can be stuck to the glass.

I have one on my Sea Blue.
