So then guys and girls.. pommie here who likes dubs, sponging, longboarding, camping, countryside, nature etc
Single, doesn't get up till late if I've been on the razzle.
Well if God intended us to see a sunrise, he would have scheduled it for later in the day. Deffo a night owl
So where would you suggest I go?
(awaits the "stay at home pommie" comments
)
east coast
But Stay home pom
Wolf Creeks good this time of year.
Any part of Australia is great If you are going to be spending money come and do it in NSW,particularly the mid north coast area we can do with it.Have a good holiday anyway.Cheers Les
if you like surf and pubs it is hard to beat the NSW coast
Wrong time of year if you wanna go sydney beaches and stuff, way to cold now and for the next while but come in summer and Stsrt and wollongong and head north
Definately the west coast, more to see, less people, better beaches, more sun, great wine, good surf, tropical east kimberley, quokkas, indian ocean,
a few dubs too
As you're a Pom come to Noosa, there's thousands of us already here so it'll just be like home ....except we've got sandy beaches, blue sky,
plenty of space and we speak english!! Pubs might not be up to scratch though but it's a small sacrifice
You also have to promise to go back.
definately darwin in the dry season for great tropical weather and cold beers
come to Cairns. Hope on a boat and go diving on the great barrier reef. head a bit further north and your in lush tropical rainforest. massive party town too!!! lots of tourists in cairns!
Mate, pretty much anywhere here in Australia has something worth seeing/doing. It depends what you are in to though as to where would be best. You
can backpack around just about anywhere on the coast and get good surf and interesting countryside. Maybe look at the time of year your coming though
as if it is in our winter, stay to the north of the country for the warm surfing weather or if you are here in summer, Victoria has some great beaches
and towns to explore as well.

You'd have to start in Sydney and take it from there. Don't miss the VW Nationals in Fairfield (Sydney) if you are here on Sunday 23rd May - our
biggest VW show.
Grab the Lonely Planet book on Australia and have a read. Also check out http://www.lonelyplanet.com/australia
I liked Kent very much when I was there in 1999, catching up with an old girlfriend. She works as a copper in Maidstone.

@ LUFTMEISTER, saw a documentary on Wolf Creek, looked a bit dead for my liking.
@ Phil, some of Kent's really nice
You know England has the best sewage system in the whole world? They send all their shit out here
ha, mate where ever you go in the land of OZ, I am pretty sure you will have a great time, just do your homework
and pic your chosen destination and pursue it, cheers Frank, oh my brother inlaw is a pom but I dont hold that against him
A little off the actual topic but for all of our American friends (and others) on this site, what you guys call a Brit, we call a Pom or Pommie (quite
often with the word bastard in there as well).
