Apologies for the time taken to get the site back online. I would have repaired it sooner, but my wife was rushed to hospital yesterday with the worst anaphylaxis she's had for years, and thus I've been a bit distracted.

The database had pink kittens and had to be repaired. I've repaired the two known broken tables, and the 1.5 GB attachments table that used to die all the time back when we ran a buggy MySQL (4.0.x). We no longer run that buggy version of MySQL, so I was surprised to find the DB offline this morning.

Please SMS me 0410 685 509 if you find AVDS offline again. I am not usually further than about 30 minutes away from a computer that can log on to this site. I've got to go back to the ER now, so I will not be monitoring the site unless you folks call or SMS me if it's in trouble.

Today's outage was a dodgy payment gateway not processing my debit card correctly. Problem resolved.
