Okay, so im nearly finished year 12 and in like six months time i wanna move into the city for 6-7 months.

Im looking into jobs i could do that id enjoy and that would help me in the long run.

So far ive thought about Queen Street Racing and the like but i dont think they would hire someone for a short period of time. I wanna get into the car modifing scene sorta, get a feel for different techniques and stuff.

I also like vws and working on motors etc. And for the last 6 years ive worked in a metal fabrication and erection place all over the state. I know how to weld etc, have my own helmet and stuff like that.

So what im after is some ideas about where to work or what areas to look into, i think ill be based llike in the inner city if that narows it down. Preferably something to do with vws but anything will really do.

Try looking in VWMA for VW workshops and repair centres in Sydney - there are not as many as there used to be but there's still a few. Give all of them a ring and sell yourself! Here's a few to get you started:
