Hi All,
Advanced copies of issue#26 will be on sale at the Gold Coast show in Qld this weekend and at the Pit Stop Cruise in Sydney.
The Gold Coast show will have the magazines on sale at the VWMA trade stall at a discounted show price. The VWMA Formula Vee will also be on display
and VW Warwick flyers for the 2010 event will be handed out. There are also subscription prize packs to be given away.
Also, Andrew Frood, VWMA photographer will be snapping the action and on the lookout for the next batch of Qld features for 2010/2011, so please
introduce yourself.
Cheers
Craig
Cool, I'll grab two on Sunday then Craig
Got mine today!(SUBSCRIBE!!)
Great read.
Can't wait for the next installment to the Ken Virgin story!
Some awesome pictures from Portland too.
We have some issues for our show
great read well done thanks heaps for all the bits for our show
The Ken Virgin story was an honour to research and write in conjunction with his son Glen. Glen is a true gentleman and has supplied some amazing
images for the story. The two part format was simply a question of getting the story correct, and the first installment took the best part of two
months to final draft.
Glen has got quite a personal story himself and would also make an excellent future feature.
I'm hoping Ken's drag Beetle that Adam and Peter Debiasi restored can see some real track time at either Warwick or Portland next year. The image of
the car in the latest issue was a favourite photo of mine from the event.
Here's another photo of Ken at Collingrove - just for AVD!
