No VW content: Internet question, what's hijacking my searches
karmannghia60 - May 12th, 2010 at 05:23 PM

I must have accessed a web page I shouldn't recently now I have a lot of crap on my laptop. If I google something then click on one of the search results, it takes me to something totally different and I can't click on the Back button to go back to the search results. I have to open another Explorer window and run the search again. Also if I type a link incorrectly, I get taken to a wsearch page which I can't get rid of.
I ran SuperAntiSpy which picked few things, cleaned them but the above still there
What do I do?

Sumtimes with things lyk that you can just do a System Restore, in start -- accessiries -- system tools. Usually its just a little annoying virus that may come in a website packet and it changes your registry around so a System Restore will return it back to how it was before.

Thats if you have system restore enabled on your computer...
