I'll be heading down from the sunny coast on the friday morning n usually there are a few dubbers cruising south for the event from queenslander
I'm up for it n beginning for me from the sunny coast
anyone else making the trek feel free to tag along
I'm sure this will be made up as the time comes closer

If i can get enough money tohether to cover the gearbox repair ,,, & if we can get it back in the hole & running in time (need to do all 4x CV joint boots & a few other fiddly things too,,,, then we will most probably be comming down thursday night or friday morning

H what time you thinking about heading off up there...just so we know what time roughly you will be around our way for those wishing to do the convoy ?
There is a small BP servo abit before & on the opposite side of the road to the Big Prawn...maybe the place to meet
might be the best place to meet ..

I'm looking at leaving the sunny coast noosa area via cooroy to the hi-way at 07.00
all going well I'll be then onto the BP yatala for coffee etc maybe meet up more dubbers n leaving it by 09.00 then onto u guys at the BP near the big prawn (RIP) at maybe 10.30? not sure..

I am happy/prefer to cruise at the speed limit with or without dubbers but with dubbers is more fun

A small group of us are planning on leaving the Gold Coast at 7am on Friday for the run down - assuming that the Kombi's Auto box is back in one piece and all the bolts are tight!

It is quite likely that others that are heading down at later times will catch up with us as we are travelling with two kids (so potty stops will happen every 45 mins ). Hopefully we will be there before dark this time!

is anyone leaving early saturday morning
im tied up until then

A few of us will be heading off from the goldy friday morning - can't specify exact time at this stage but probably between 8 and 9am-ish. Will be a slow trip down for us (with kid stops but also because Steve who works for me will be driving his splitty dual cab (stock 1500 single port with reduction hub gearbox)).....so a few of you may pass us!
