Yep, my notch still has one on the keyring.

The car is an Aussie-built 1500S - 1965. That car is not stored at my house, so I'll grab a photo of the key tag next time I have the car out.

Let us know if there is any info on the back like the dealer details or build date?

My 72 beetle cabrio came from the US and it had something very similar to this pop riveted to the dash. It was attached to the left hand side where the corner vent comes out of the top of the dash. My #@*&^ brother - in - law just ripped it off so I can't re-attach it how it was. It still had the VIN in the normal beetle location under the rear seat as well/
