My son & his remote controlled Bug
Sherbie - May 25th, 2010 at 09:49 PM
My son turned 11 today. He loves this site. He spends
alot of time on here looking at all the VW's & asked
if I can put up a picture of him & his remote control
Beetle he got for his birthday today. His world
revolves around Bug's & Kombi's so he was rapt to get
his present today! He also got a Kombi money box,
1 Kombi T-shirt & 1 Beetle T-shirt.

No, It came all together thankfully lol
Yep the $220 included the remote also
came with a battery & charger we just brought
a spare battery. It was $220 marked down
from $299 but as hubby said no matter the
price we would have ended up paying it
for him. He has just polished his bug as he
says it got very dirty yesterday lol...A very
avid bug lover in the making he is.

Very cool they are too.
I bought myself & my father one each a few years ago now when Tamiya re released them.
My father hand made a 1/10 scale caravan, copied from his real 1/1 caravan for the beetle to tow along.
Lots of fun even for grownups.
regards
Jak

My son now wants a caravan
I would have brought
2 of them for my daughters upcoming
birthday but alas that was the last one.
Do they come in Kombi's also?
Jak Rizzo - May 26th, 2010 at 04:07 PM
No, but a guy here on the Central Coast makes Kombi bodies for them
