Are you going to the Sat Nite Dinner at Valla?

I'm curious to know how many of us are planning to go to the dinner?
I thought it was the 'done thing' but a few people are saying they won't go. This is our first year so we have no idea what to expect...

My first Valla also. I put my name down for the dinner to as I thought it must be the done thing.

I would also like to know more info ie. who's going and how good has it been in the past.

yes I am going to the Dinner
It is the 50's theme so I guess that turns people off...but not me.
I'm luv partys...any excuse.
Been out cruisin for a new (or should I say "retro";) outfit.
I'ts all the fun of going to valla....
different adventures, meeting people, VW's & parties,
& its something you only get every 2 yrs...
so make the most of it people...
Shani, cruise the op shops & st Vinny's
they have some really kool outfits.
I'm going as an old 50's housewife in her best "frock". lol
My son is going as a old servo driveway attendant.
Alec is going & we are still talkin Tazz into it.
Guys are easy to dress....slick back hair,
jeans, leather jacket & a white T shirt.
just like Fonzie in Happy Days.
It will be a great night....& bring your camera & hair Gel LOL

Yep

most of us are going to the Valla PUB which is about 1 K up the road, The food was excellent last time we attended there, and will wander back a little later.

Do the dinner, but watch out walking back to teh cabins - they all look alike in the dark, and sleeping outside is cold.....

Considering my 'cabin' is going to be Rustbucket68s Kombi with my Bug parked beside it then I think I'll be fine ;)

Im a person that wants to be everywhere at the same time, so im hopping, to the pub, going to the dinner and kicking back at the park, most probably all night long for 3 days long.
