It always happens when you want it to least....
Worked on the motor tuning etc yesterday, but last night it rained a bit and somehow the ignition got wet, no worries it started fine but got down the
road to the servo and it just stopped, peak hour sydney traffic I pushed it off the main road (new south head rd) and tried to work it out.
The points had binded and the ignition was soaked, I thought it could start up again in 30mins or so once it had dried, no good...
Word to the wise check your points before you want to take it to windsor for it's rollcage
Whilst I was broken down it did give me a chance to look at a classic car dealer, who has some nice VW's, he had a 70's 1300 that was in Flipper
Blue (guess) but they wanted $14,500 ok so it was restored but nothing spectacular... Had a look under neath and there was probably a 20cm by 20cm
puddle of oil underneath, I said to him it's a bit leaky and he fobbed me off with awww c'mon all VW's leak like that!

Mmm nice 1964 BMW, very Vwish and aircooled, discription seems to be a Vw, but interesting car none the less.
