I take this opportunity to thank all those who left their messages of sadness at the loss of our beloved Type III Lilli. Your kind words have helped me at this distressful time.

Althought I'm not an out & out air cooled person (more VW person), I've enjoyed my time with the Type III.

If a really good air cooled presented itself, I would buy it. Same for a mK 1 Golf, but in the reality of time constraint, I will have to look else where for now.

Since 50% of my blood is German, I do not take this course lightly.

Once again, thanks to you all who left messages of sympathy, it helped.

No Dave, not going to Nambucca. Going to Tasmania for big VW run, should be lots big things there.

Then we have the Brisbane Bug-In next Easter, and we will be heading up to Ayr to visit friends & relatives. Trip will take 5 weeks & lots of money.

We will be sleeping in the Green T4, and are taking one of our Grand sons.

sorry to see the poor type 3 maris the first time i seen this car it looked awesome it was on the cafe heidelberg cruise to the barossa the club put a photo of my dads car in the club mag it was a good cruise good luck with it can it be restored or are you looking at another car

Lilli can be restored, but to be viable, needs to be done by someone who could do most/all of the work themselves, and that's not me.
Hopefully I can sell to someone with the time, money and expertise to do it. We will look for something??, don't know what! May not be a VW.
