Hey Lee, lambo style (scissor) doors including all aftermarket conversions/kits come with heavy duty gas struts. It would be like lifting a VERY HEAVY tail gate in a hatch with hardly any efford cept the slight push to get the struts extending.

I like... VERY supercar stylin.

W12 yes is 12 cyl, in a W configuration, as opposed to say a V-configuration in a V12.
So will be 3 lots of 4 cylinders... shapin a W :P... or perhaps 4 lots of 3 cylinders, just try to picture a w instead of a V :P

Talk about car porn hey? :dork:

No they were just a design study. The platform was used to test the W12 engine before it was used in Bentleys, and later the VW Phaeton limousine and Touareg SUV. This W12 was 4 banks of 3 cylinders, as it was two narrow-angle VR6 engines joined together into a vee. You are thinking of the Audi W12 from the 1991 Avus show car, that was indeed 3 banks of 4 cylinders (it never entered production).

VW wouldn't build a car like this as a production car, as it would clash with the Lamborghini franchise that VW already owns, as well as being a little too like the Audi R8 coupe as well.

But VW has said they WILL make the mid-engined BlueSport roadster, which is a much more realistic vehicle.
