Just wondering if there is anyone else out near Hamilton, moved recently and haven't seen to many VWs out this way.

Yes, about an hour from Portland. Was thinking the same of you empi!! Moved about 10 weeks ago, loving it so far, girlfriend is a Hamilton girl. Renting out the place in St Kilda. Got a bit more shed space now!
