I reckon get a set of Sprintstar's instead... a bit less common on Beetle's, but more period correct for your historic racing.

Sprints i've always liked, you can't see the cool fins i'm going to have on my drums though... I was thinking of leaving the raders as chrome for a while and then getting them powdercoated completely black.... with shiny silver fins on the brake drums behind!

But it's not about looks, if it was they wouldn't let folks like you or I race
