GTMac - September 19th, 2010 at 10:35 PM

Does anyone know who the company is, I think in QLD that restores Karmann Ghias, with air con options etc etc. Think you can specify what you want and they will do it?

that was the guy up around gosford way pretty sure he went belly up and took some funds with him

If you want a KG fitted with AC i suggest talking with Mike at Raw Auto Werks or Polak on here

I have also heard of a company that installs aircon up here, there was a kg on the cover of vwma a while back who used that company from memory

the latest air con compressors weight much much less than the original York compressors did...

well worth the comfort factor... YES.... IMHO

Funny part is a vw engine runs pretty hot in the middle of summer and if you are going to run aircon it will make your engine run even hotter from the extra power being used, get a convertable and drop the top

?? I am talking about modern compressors. they still weigh s#it loads, and the rest of the system. Besides I can't stand that frigid bone dry air that air cons make. I like my air to be around 25-30 anyway.
