I just found out that the Oktoberfest won't be held at the fairfield showgrounds. This year it will be held at the German-Austrian society club premises in cabramatta.

Apparantly they said it was not financially viable to do it at the showgrounds.

It just won't be the same atmosphere inside a club, very very disappointing news.

Why don't you try it first before you knock it. The Hubertus Oktoberfest is a great day. Come and park your VWs in the display and enjoy the festivities.

The Hubertus Oktoberfest sounds pretty good, I'll definitely come along.
