Hi All,
i'm off to the US and Canada over January, and am spending 4 days in LA, whilst most of the family goes to disney land etc.. I wanted to find some VW
realted stuff.
So who has been to LA, and whats good to do?
Which shops are must see items?
Cheers
This would be interesting
Rod Penrose is the expert.
go see the Bergs
Also check out Wolfsburg West, check out Pomona as they also have VW shows on.
In terms of eating check out Beni Hanna and In n Out Burger along with Mexican restaurants
YIKES....
the Aussie dollar may be equal to the US Dollar by then.... lol
Wolfsburg West is cool to visit but it is a fairly decent drive from Anaheim (disney area). There are lots of cool shops to see depending on what
you're into. I'd definitely go and see Vee Dub Parts Unlimited - ask to speak to Jeff Alvarez as he is a really great guy (lots of great parts at
good prices). Obviously Bergs, and Heads Up Performance (Roger Crawford), plus FAT Performance if you're into more the performance side. Resto shops
- Octavios (Kustom 1 upholstery) and West Coast Classic Restorations (Lenny Copp) plus a heap others if thats what you're into.
Lots of cool stuff to see and great people to meet.
Al
bring back some type 3 floor pans please
not sure that the floor pans will fit in the suitcase!
West coast classic would be good, and wolfsburg west.
Does anyone know what happened to BFY Obsolete?>
id go to disneyland and ride the tea cups
6 flags have a great setup a few hours away
also vegas baby show up and night and see how far you can spot it from !
Yeah were going to Vegas, that should be great!
I did Disney World and universal in Florida back in 1997, so i've sort of done it so to speak.
But Universal in LA is supposed to be the best
