They are for sale in England for 20k pounds, RHD and brand new

the problem being that they would have to meet the current ADRs, which would be almost impossibe for them to pass. side intrusion and emissions mainly

I dont believe they can be registered here in Australia as they dont meet ADR ???

Barry is right, they can't be registered in Australia as they don't meet our ADRs.

They are not German, they are made in Brazil. They are imported to the UK and converted to campers by the Danbury camper company. They offer a basic LHD model, or you can pay extra for a RHD conversion. However the LHD body shell means that the sliding side door remains on the right-hand side.

They don't have a 2.1-litre engine, as VW discontinued that motor in 1993 and no longer makes flat engines. They have a 1.4-litre in-line engine from the VW Polo/Gol. It is a Brazilian 'Flex Fuel' motor that can run on any ethanol mix from E10 to E100.
