PHAT BUG - July 21st, 2003 at 05:52 AM

Ive said it once and I'll say it again:

DO IT!!!!!

PHAT BUG - July 21st, 2003 at 05:54 AM

Good to hear, cant wait to see them!

Robo - July 21st, 2003 at 06:00 AM

Looks like there would be a fair bit of work involved to make them follow the lines of the body work, be interested to see how it works out!

A little hard to see on the truck, but you get the general idea.

Spats would look great on a bus:thumb

helbus - July 21st, 2003 at 06:05 PM

They look similar to the ones on the green ute in the Samba link. with a slight dip up where the wheel is.

Pass - I just know the morning after i fit them I'd get a flat rear tyre!

Bizarre - July 22nd, 2003 at 08:04 AM

Nope - not my cup of tea at all.

But then - its not my car.

Whatever :jesus

72TWINCAB - July 22nd, 2003 at 08:19 AM

Yeah go for it. Don't see enough Kombies with them. Should look sweeeet.

helbus - July 22nd, 2003 at 08:46 AM

They don't make it any harder to change a flat tyre than a hubcap does. They just unclip with a big spring at the back. Takes about 30 seconds.

The way they are designed, they dont fall off, and they are easy to remove. Only thing to watch out for are theives. Like I said easy as hubcaps. :D

that green bus is sweet they shuld try and make the soats for the front how kool would that be :thumb :thumb

Mr Bubble Head - July 22nd, 2003 at 10:00 PM

Sorry Hell Bus but I recon they would look shit house for a start the arch lines are all wrong eg the arches are too flaired, spats would only work well on flat profile arches eg pre 60s kombies also kombies dont have much in the way of body lines so adding spats just make it look more flat looking and slabbie thats why you dont see them as after market accesories

sorry but just my opinion:puke:puke

It seems to be a very even poll for all the 'other' choices!
Only a week to go until I get 'em. :bounce
