Most cost effective way to send body clips.

Ok, I have a buyer on ebay who bought some type 3 clips. which need to go from central vic to Brisbane. relatively big but only about 25-30kg all together.

Anyway I was rather surprised that he even bought it since he lives in bris. He tried to organize shipping through pack send lol

lol no wonder they quoted he 800 buks :!::no:

So whats another option? removals, couriers like couriers please? or maybe someone here can help out ;)

All together its about 160cm x 150cm x 50cm and about high 20s in kg with heater channels and sills as physically separate items but included with his purchase.

Anyone got ideas?

I've used fastways before. They were cheap and quick.

Road trip to collect? I can imagine that being very difficult to get couriered at a sensible price. Maybe if he could pay for it to be packed up and sent with a truck-based shipping company from depot to depot, rather than couriered door to door in a van? If it's that big and flat then it would need to be able to stand up vertically and preferably be in a strong enough crate to have things stacked on top of it, which I imagine might reduce the inconvenience to the freight company and thus the price?

I got a removalist coming tomorrow to pickup 8 X 60kg cast iron radiator to go to Newcastle. they are a small family business based in Melbourne that do go up to Brisbane. I will ask them tomorrow how much this would cost.

I have no idea how much the radiators cost as the buyer sorted it out, but still wont stop me asking :)

lol half a tonne of radiators

When I was on a bus from Mt Isa to Brisbane the Macafferties bus was like a courier. We were delivering all sorts. Even bread!
