Ahh, cool - pics to reinforce that I really should've gone !!!
Something you might be able to tell me Paul... on the TV at one point there was a brief shot of a white course car at the rear of the field. Couldn't
tell what type of car it was, but had a very unusual tail end on it, almost Panamera like... don't happen to know what it was do you ???
btw - I think the retro livery on the HRT cars looks dead sexy !!!

Nah - that plan is a BAe Hawk... the pommy 2 seat trainer that the RAAF picked up about 10 years back (replaced the Aero Macchi)
A Hornet trainer is just a 2 seat version of a Hornet... twin tail fins and twin air intakes... rounded tho like a normal Hornet... not rectangular as
on the Super Hornet.
Keep the pics coming !!!

Great piccies.
Was a good race and I really liked the result. Only thing that would have improved it was if Lowndesy was still driving a Ford (Hey Sides)

The medical car was a white Porsche Panamera.
Did anyone get a picture of the old campervan parked between the team pantechs in the pits? It was uber-cool.

Hi
I used to go every year when there more than the Fords & Holdens racing, I miss the old days of Group C and Group A and the Super Tourers. I guess
they give what the people want.

Couldn't agree more Steve, at least there was a variety of cars which showed the strengths and weakness' of each.
The first pic down pit lane is just great
Cheers
