Currently the only ones that I know of are yourself, garybugger, countrybuggykid, 2kombis, a guy in Swansea(sorry forgot your name), Damian(forgot his handle)in Launceston, and me. Got the state covered but sparsely, need more. volma1
I live in Swansea. Swansea is on the central east coast of Tasmania. I run Duncombe Emu Farm. I produce skin care products, made with Emu oil as a
major ingredient. I also have a passion for Beetles, models 1960-1970.

Does Tasmanians now living in Qld count. Born in Launceston and grew up in Devonport.
They probably count, but I think Kevin has other ideas, maybe a gathering of local forum members, I don't know but I'll keep posted. volma1

Well I spent 2 weeks in Tasmania last year checking the roads out for Targa. Very nice, and the roads are calling for big speeds, the Fairmont had
many a time on the speed limiter
Coming back to Sydney home prices I'm amazed more people don't live there!

Reggi who?
No really, handy around the kitchen, fair dinkum sheila.volma
Isn't everyone sick of @#%$*# Reggie. It's not like she or any of the others did anything worthwhile except laze around and do bugger all.
Hey, sounds like me, only without the $250 000 !! Who said she was stupid, not a bad hourly rate?
How many of you out there are coming to Tassie in Nov.? Never know you might bump into Reggie!!!:bounce:bounce
Jers, hi there, have a capn cook at this 61 kombi that I followed home today. Lives near the Basin, been here a year and I have never seen it. me thinks I am slipping. volma1

You're right volma that's pretty poor. Although I haven't seen it either!! You wouldn't have any more room anyway!

Hi,
I'm new to the forum.
I own a '71 Super Beetle that I am trying to get cleaned up before I get my license in December.
I'm proud to be Tasmanian!
It all started when I found the passenger side carpet soaked after some rain.
I ripped up the carpet, then the tarboards.
I kept on learning heaps and getting more and more intrigued.
Before I knew it I was doing a body-off resto.
The body is back on now, so I'm using all my spare time to get it finished by December.
I'll try to attach a progress photo.
Talk to you all later.
Stephen
