Vw's on display at Telstra 500 V8 Supercars Sydney

Today i went out to the supercars and was pleasantly surprised to see two VW's on display.
The first was Peter and Dawn Huckstepps Billet bug and a Kombi van. Peter and Dawns display is so professional. with so many hot cars there it was
good to see the beetle getting more attention than most other cars on display.
Not sure about the kombi but it has a hot interior. both cars are entered into the show and shine competition. If you are off to the V8's be sure to
take a look at the dome

There was also another pearly pink beetle inside next to the 50 Merc that looked nice.
In that same show there were some crap cars.
It's as if they got some cheap ebay "specials" and tried to polished them up.......

So was your car their .I geuss not, its much easier to just knock the doers on the key board than put the effort in to a car for show.

Holy Moly, the chrome on the beetle, did you have to put your sunnies on? Looks pretty damn nice though, and the Kombi that looks great!! Almost looks
like the Jetsons!!

Not chrome it is all aluminium but still as stunning

Before commenting you might want to get your facts right first, instead of being a keyboard hero!
To set the record straight I have entered my car (not vw) into car shows previously so I know what's required.
If you do some research into my current ride you'll see what I've built.......

V8's are ok its nice to see some real race cars go the Beetles and Kombi's no Herbie must be in Monte Carlo

I think that car is owned by a prominent drag racers wife ,and used as a daily driver ,as i,ve seen it out and about in c,town
