Yes its good to have new sponsors , that support this web site but I think it's to much eye (brain) pollution .
The old way was better , just up the top for everyone to see.
Yes I have clicked to see there products . Allso slows the site down.

use alternate inet browser such as chrome or firefox

no pop-ups on my comp, perhaps you need a pop-up blocker, there are plenty of free ones out there.
if its the banner add at the top and bottom of the page, theres not alot we can do, they support this site and we thank them for that.
there are other forums which put adverts between the posts, now that is a real pain!

try going to "tools" - "content" - and then make sure POPUP BLOCKER is on.

Otherwise:

When it installs, do an update, immunise ur system and run a spyware scan.

This is differnt from an antivirus scan.

Well maybe popups isn't the correct term . Its sponsor adds . So you all read my post ?
1/ Every time you go backwards from a page ( say your half way down on a topic page , then go backwards to title page or a past page , the sponsor logo above pops up )
2 /Or when you look at a new topic page ( say drag racing then click on a decussion , the computer screen is pushed to the top so you see the sponsor again , then everytime you have to scroll down , before you start reading any word in that decussion )
Not trying to stir shit but when you are looking at many pages or topics it becomes a pain !

It's fine on main forum title page or when you first go into a topic section .

Is it really a popup, or the banner at the top of the page? Pop ups and banners are 2 different things. Kinda like a megabite and a mozziebite, some PC users don't know the difference.

Dak-a-tak, i flick thru the pages quite abit, yet when i go forward and backward i end up at the place i left off. no banner adds "popping up"
when i first log on, the first thig i see is the banner add, then the rest of the page builds round it, but once thats done it doesnt do it again, so i think i understand what you are saying. but on my system its not a big issue, but if your system is building the page round the add every time you go from page to page, then maybe you need a disc clean up or something, i'm no computer geek but i'm sure others can advise as to what to do

I think I understand where Pagey is coming from... I've noticed a couple of the newer banner ads are animated, and also possibly a bit taller than normal.

Volks.com.au and greehouses.online.com.au are the one's I've noticed... they definitely affect the page layout and do take slightly longer to load.

Tough call tho... it's important to give sponsors good bang for their buck, and altho I've noticed the banners IMHO they're still not as eye-jarring as some people's signature block's... there's a couple of them that take up half the screen on my netbook !!!

yeah i know what you mean about those HUGE signitures, so i altered mine, although i'll miss it. now i've got a bragging list which more people will probably hate!

It's very simple every time you go backwards from inside a post the banner or add pops up over the page you are on !!!

I noticed that when going backwards or forwards the banner ads appear at the centre of the screen before the page loads, but I doubt that is intentional, the ad is probably loading before the page loads. But definitely no popups.

I see them as well why do green houses advertise on this site do they think we all are a bunch of pot smoking hippies
