just thought i'd smile happily at everyone for a bit
a german friend from work has had a heap of OLD hazet tools (sockets, spanners, wrenches, and bizarre tools like a bearing scraper and circlip sqwisher) for forty years. he decided to give them to me a few months ago because i'm a helpful SOB. today he dumped them in my bug when he went to lunch, and i just opened the toolbox and stared in wonderment. holy crap. they're beautiful. hardly used, and one helluvan addition to my toolkit

some of these tools are selling for 100s of bucks US as they're the originals that used to be in the little toolkits in the front of VWs. bizarre. cool. yeehah
might bring them to valla if everyone promises not to steal them :thumb

Thanks for looking Peter, and I don't want to part with the board either. I have some of the tools, but not all. It would help me if you tell me which ones you think you have - off the forum if you like - would love to be able to identify all the tools on my board.
