Road to Nationals: Favourite Driving Song?
Ollie - May 18th, 2011 at 05:36 PM

Seeing as Nationals is fast approaching, and many of us will be travelling some considerable distances to reach the venue, I figured a little bit of driving music would be in order!

We all have our radios tuned, CD's ripped (legally of course!) and iPods connected, so what can you offer the good people of AVD from your selection of tunes?

Post up your favourite driving song and any suggestions you may have!

P.S. The magic sound of open 48IDA's doesn't count

STIDUB - May 18th, 2011 at 06:07 PM

ipod 5000+ songs from 50's to now ranging from classical to hardstyle trance, random track shuffle = winner did the drive from brissy down last night just like that, works every time, boss lady doesnt think much of the 2am hardstyle while she's sleeping though

Here are a few that are on permanent loop on an sd card in the bug.
Love is the drug by roxy music
Chelsea by Elvis Costello
Rip it up by 28 days
Self esteem by The Offspring
October Grey by The screaming jets
Look Sharp by Joe Jackson
The list goes on

Basically I think you need something loud or clear enough to hear over the sound of a 46 year old 1300 trying to maintain 105km/hr.
