You should only use this to look at your own times as some classes may need adjusting.
Unfortunately there were a few mechanically injured vehicles this year, more than I recall from previous years. And even a few that happened before
racing started.

Printed. See Kevin (me) on the main gate entrance, I will (should) be working there with Dave Birchall.

Thanks for the results list.
So which class had the fastest air cooled?(not vees)
Hard to tell what has water cooled engines out back these days.
Brian - May 22nd, 2011 at 09:27 AM
Troy was the quickest non turbo bug
Brian - May 22nd, 2011 at 11:10 AM
Rudy had the Quickest air cooled bug by far
but that Wing is uglier than Princess Beatrice 's head piece

Is that number 131??
What sort of engine spec is in that?? I didn't really notice that it was particularly quick, but the times show that it was. Obviously going about
its work without too much fuss.

I think I was the only one in my class... no one else would be silly enough to take a stock 1300 out
Default Win!!

You might not have been going at the speed that Rudi was going, but your car looked much more composed than it did last year.
Last year it was a but wobbly through corners and had the terrible swing axle habit of trying to go up on the edge of the tyres, but this year it was
going much flatter through the corners.
Although I did hear one person wonder out loud whether you had to brake for corners or could just fang it through at full tilt!

After Rudi, it looks like Troy Traeger #131(1915 efi?) got the qickest normally aspirated Volksy, followed by Nathan Hearn #74(type 4?), then Greg
Mackie (2lt?) and Rod Penrose(2276), then George Gershos.

I can thank Greg Mackie for the help; he has built me a pretty sweet camber compensator to tame the swng axle somewhat.
And yes I pretty much was full tilt the whole way around; I only braked slightly at the end of the straight becasue If I slowed to much i'd never get
the momentum back to get up the hill!!

4th in class good
Bizarre - May 24th, 2011 at 08:39 PM
Yeah - Nathan is a 2.7L type 4 IDA motor in a fairly well sorted 1303
He is fairly new to all this and reckon it is a pretty respectlable effort
