Yay. Good one. I hope the Pacific Hwy. is clear through Kempsey for you to get back.

Good luck.

DylanTheDubber - June 16th, 2011 at 09:01 PM

Jeff,

Thanks heaps, if your in port give me a holler on saturday or sunday if your free to catch up in town and check out my new ride. I have found an alternate road to get around Kempsey floods by going west at Fredo and then goin out to Green hill and then around and head East back on to River St. and then out to Port.

I assume you can get to Fredo from the North then? Through Clybucca?

I hope to be home on the weekend with my bug - If I get a chance I will give you a holler.

Travel safe mate.

beetleboyjeff - June 18th, 2011 at 09:11 AM

I just noticed on Dylan's facebook - he is freezing his feet off at Maccas at Glenn Inness.

Oh, just noticed - that is 16 hours ago - he should be home now.

ian.mezz - June 18th, 2011 at 09:13 AM

Good to hear.
But now Dylan keep this one in one piece and don't dig at any rust or pull anything big apart as I have seen you wreak a few vw in the past.
If this one is a keeper and you intend on doing a bit of work on it , do little jobs at a time and keep the little bug a goer and allways driveable.. between jobs.

Joel - June 18th, 2011 at 09:18 AM

I did a little bit of work on this bug for Dylan and his old man for rego a few months back, she's a good solid keeper.

Matt Ryan - June 18th, 2011 at 10:11 AM

Time to start looking for a part time job to pay for it all Dylan:lol:

I agree with Ian, keep it on the road as much as possible and take your time getting it to where you eventually want it to be.

Good luck with this one.

Regards,

Matt.

beetleboyjeff - June 18th, 2011 at 01:18 PM

Just noticed on Facebook that Dylan got home about an hour ago.

Glad he made it safely (well, I assume safely).
