AWESOME. loved how the mini was giving him a run up the hill. One of my mates was driving the Blue with white stripes Galaxie that got overtaken on the second run down conrod. Its a great class to race in

Nice bit of video, showing a lot of the cars. That brought back some memories, as I drove a completely stock Beetle there [Bathurst] in the 1963 Armstrong 500.

It seemed to take ages to get to the top of the mountain, and even down con-rod straight felt slow. My car clocked 86 MPH though - down hill, and a 'tow' from a faster car helped a bit. It took 'all day' to do the 500 miles.
