Hi,

Does anyone know or can estimate the weight of a Beetle Chassis as follows:

1969 SemiAuto Chassis
No Body obviously
Has had the two floor pans cut off
Has the front beam, suspension and hubs (no wheels)
Has the rear IRS including hubs (no wheels)
No Gearbox or engine.

I would love to post a photo, however it is under tarps at my Parents house in Hobart and I live in Perth WA. I have attached an image found on the internet that sort of represents what I have but for IRS, without engine, gearbox or wheels

I am considering shipping it from Hobart to Perth and would appreciate any advice or recommendations about shipping a chassis.
