USA VW Online stores?
Anthiron - July 21st, 2011 at 10:10 PM

Hi Guys.

It has been a while since i have needed to buy anything for the Baja. I usually get parts from Classicveedub or Mick Motors however I am chasing a new 30 Pict 2 or 1 Carby.

I Know they are available (obviously not Solex anymore but a repro brand)

I dont want a Brosol H30 or similar but the single screw adjusted 30.

So to my question......

Can someone tell me a few American Online VW parts dealers?

I have tried CSP but am having a total mind blank for others and google isnt being my friend at the moment.

Thanks in advance

Nicko

Hi Lee

Yeah there was a perfect carby on ebay. A NOS 30 pict 2. In the USA but he wont ship to Aus :(

Nothing of interest on Aussie Ebay. I would rather get a brand newy. Im sick of playing around with old worn Solexes. Would Love a genuine Nos Solex but i dont think i will be able to find one.

Have heard good things about Euromax

Have you ever noticed that when you convert currency to A$ on CIP1 the exchange rate is less than parity.

Not sure how a real sale pans out.

I will still say the best option is to get an original and get it rebuilt from some one like Carburettor Service Company
