DRLA linkage
Bizarre - September 10th, 2011 at 12:38 PM

I have a CB lonkage but I am getting fed up with one carb opening a fraction before the other.

The standard steel one had wear in it so I replaced it with an aluminium one with steel inserts

Does anyone sell the CSP or Berg here in Australia before I go ordering from overseas.

you have to adjust linkage with someone operating the throttle from the drivers seat, as it is a different action from pushing the linkage on the engine and trying to adjust it that way.

just go straight to bergs.....phone them as they are currently doing a few different versions with stainless, chrome or painted bits and bobs............and have it by the end of the week

wasn't someone modifying hexbar linkages so they swung in needle bearings?
to eliminate the wear/movement?

My uncle modified his hex bar to run in bearings and it works a treat. I modified a linkage kit for idf's to fit drla's. You need to buy throttle arm spacers so that the push arms both push in the same arc. Since I've done that they dint go out of adjustment!!

make sure u roll pin the throttle arm clamp linkages when u finnish ur adjustments will never move again Cheers Rudi
