We don't need to sell it but if he gets a good enough offer he might.

Its nice though, he got it when he started with VW back in the day.

LUFTMEISTER - September 17th, 2011 at 07:44 PM

if its as per photo will be worth good dollars. Whats your location as that will add to the cost of purchase. Do you have the suitcase the tools came in?

wur86 - September 17th, 2011 at 08:28 PM

No he doesnt have the suitcase...

Are you able to identify what tools are missing from the set Luftmeister??

Located in Victoria.

LUFTMEISTER - September 17th, 2011 at 09:23 PM

peening punch 2524
900 series sockets 19mm & 17mm
long nose pliers 2576
dash lock nut tool 2566 (small screwdriver like tool)

Good luck with sale. Cheers

wur86 - September 17th, 2011 at 09:49 PM

Your a champ.

Thanks again for your help.

whatnow - September 18th, 2011 at 11:24 AM

that is an early tool board so to get to use all of the tools you will need an early beetle or kombi something from the 6 volt era 67 and earlier.

you have a pm from me on the samba. :)

henry.

wur86 - September 19th, 2011 at 09:48 PM

Yeh realised that too late Henry. Would look good on the wall of the garage though :)

Will reply to your samba PM.

Cheers

1303Steve - September 20th, 2011 at 03:33 PM

Hi

I have the tool in the middle under the Hazet logo, I know what its for, does anybody else know?

Steve

wur86 - September 20th, 2011 at 06:44 PM

I think its just one of those things that if dad wants to sell it we will just have to chuck it on ebay and see how it goes....

The tool in middle under hazet logo is for installing rings to pistons it spreads the ring open evenly and you just slip it onto piston
