US & some European countries not going well at the moment

the Lucky country still has its head above water... lol

maybe the $A will rise again over the greenback...

There is a plus side to the dollar being so good lately, the whole new interior we just purchased for the Oval was incredible.

But Nikos is right, it all has a pendulum effet, and what goes up must come down also.

but seeing We have no control over the fluctuating dollar

We can still watch it... just for fun .. lol

a lower Aussie dollar is much better for Australia in regards to Exports and the interest rates that are killing many home buyers may even drop if the dollar stays down...

Only parts I'm buying from the USA are ones I cannot find in Australia or the quality I want in Australia...

airheadparts.com is quite interesting... relating to reproduction parts or German parts or Mexican parts etc..

The German or OE parts can be 2-3 times the price of reproduction or Mexican parts...

It certainly pays to shop around ... I would love to spend money here if the parts were available ...such is the life of a fan of a non-Australian delivered vehicle .... go hard or go home!

Dollar back up to 98c today...

I read today where two money experts predicted the Aussie Dollar would -

1. Go down to about 80 cents..

2. Go back UP... to $1-10

NOT US Dollars...

Paypal had the Aussie dollar below the US$$ a few weeks ago..
before it even dropped...
