Farewell Monty Love

Beaumont 'Monty' Love passed away this week after a long battle with prostate cancer and was cremated in a very well attended ceremony at Port Macquarie yesterday.

Monty was a foundation member of the Port Macquarie based, Hastings District VW Owners Club and contributed much over the years.

He also had a keen interest in motor sport and competed in Motorkhanas, Redex and Ampol Trials as well as the Wynns Safari.

Sounds like he made sure life was a real journey to be travelled well. Good memories for all who knew him, can't ask for more than that.

Sad to hear of Monty's passing. I remember him well from the earlier years at Valla and he always had time for a chat. RIP Monty Love.
