I want to know the name of an Australian movie which had as one of it characters an eye on a stalk which would pop up, look about and say, "Oh! Oh!, trouble!, trouble!."

It is a mad cap movie about a family which lives in a big house and they have this eye on a snake like stalk. It's a situation comedy where, whenever something is about to happen or things are about to get a bit out of hand, the eye does its thing.
