i know there is already a post on this subject but i couldnt find a link for the download nothing electrical in my 1966 bug functions properly and i
have no idea where to start i just wanted to know if anyone would be nice enough to send me athe pdf file
any oneeee ?
There's not actually a link to the download, and you have to already own a printed copy of the book before the owner of the PDF will supply you the
link to download.
What exactly is, or isn't your bug doing properly?
i have a very old copy of the book but alot of the pages are stuck together and when i try to pull them apart it rips and nothing is readable as for what its doing the parking lights in the lamp come on but the actually lamps dont the front right turn signal dosnt work the top portion of my tail lights dont work and i have no brake lights or horn
That all sounds like simple wiring issues. Most probobly bad earths or bad contacts.
Lights need positive and negative to work.
Buy a cheap test light from super cheap auto and trace backwards from the lights in question (Including the light fixtures etc) testing for power on
the positive untill you find the reason why there is no power. trace the negative wire to check it earths properly.
An afternoon, about 8 beers and methodical patient work should see all your problems fixed.
You may need some spade connectors, small length of wire, wire cutters and a crimping tool.
this is for an American 66 but it should be close
