furthermore..
I had a squiz at the latest new golf coming here in 2014
golf blue e-motion
all electric with a range of 150km
good for the city slickers but not out in the wide openness
unfort the marketing imao of the names chosen i hope not reflect the clientele they are chasing for the 'blue' market
I can't help but think that the people with a desposition to black, depression and did I mention black maybe be the underlying target market
so if your feeling blue-mo or you are an e-mo step right up
you better book your colour black now as they be selling like hot cakes!
(no offense to the unhappy and black clad of the VW brethren  )
beyond blue might need some more funding :no::no:

150km??!!

Get a Tesla... if u got the money lol. can get 300miles (482km) (depending on chosen battery option). Their roadster model goes from 0 to 60mph in 3.7 secs. And they are available in Australia (roadster) on carsales.com.au for a supercar price.

Still like the "unpimp my ride" series.

Electric cars are like fertilizing your vegetables with your own waste. Sounds like a good idea, but has more problems than it solves. Now release the Loony Left ! Please face the wind generators when replying, so we can get some use out of their response. My2c

150km range is plenty for the intended use of an electric car. They're appliances for commuting and nothing more. How many people actually drive more than 150km per day? I know that I drive a 100km round trip to work every day and it's a lot. When you consider the amount of time which I spend idling in traffic during that commute, the electric car has some advantages. Personally I think that a small diesel car with idle-stop, such as the Polo Bluemotion, is a much more elegant solution for personal transport. The electric vehicle is definitely going to be part of the overall future of motoring though.

There"s also an ad for some bank or financial institution that has an early lowered notch in it
