A friend of mine has loaned me a some early Wheels magazines what were found at the dump, this one has a hot up guide to vw's, it is the largest article in the mag, holdens are still the HD and the hot car of the mag is the Brabham torana based on the Vauxhall Viva, if you peer under the bonnet it shows the air cleaner is bigger than the engine, following is the complete article and some adds for hot up parts along with a photo of Dan Gurney's racing Empi's beetle.
