the only thing i can see thats wrong is lube and spark

Cool, but isn't full scale 1:1, thats not "full" scale, dosn't take away from the brilliance though, in fact enhances it in my view. :tu:

When I saw that the cam gears were 1:1 I knew it couldn't be a real engine, then I saw it was one of those air engine that run on compressed air.

I believe this is the smallest internal combustion v12 engine.

1:1 cam. Maybe it runs two stroke? Like a model airplane engine, using compression ignition like a diesel. I remember an engine in a model plane my brother had that ran on something like methanol, and it had no ignition or lube. You just wound the prop backwards on a spring, and it unwound and started and ran on compression ignition. It did have a glow plug thing you pre heated with a 9V battery.

Nope, its an air engine. these are very common for very small scale model engines. Simply for display.

its like a compressor in reverse.
