i have the "VW Beetle Sidewinder Performance Billet Steering Wheel Adapter" steering wheel. Recently purchased 2 weeks ago. Its also referred to as: Sidewinder Billet Steering Wheel Set "Classic". What would you like to know about the product?

id say he wants to know how the fit and finish are

vw54 - December 6th, 2011 at 05:55 PM

anyone know who owns that company or where they are

thebullfrog - December 6th, 2011 at 07:09 PM

Fit and finnish:

Finnish: Well it looks like bloody porn if you ask me, i love it and cant faullt it, easy to piece together (horn adaptor and bolts come with supplied allen key. Its super shiny and gets it shine back with a simple swipe of a lint free cloth.

Fit: My car is currently in around 10 different box's, so i have only sat it on the spline (no force) and it feels that with some lubrication it will go on fine with a snug fit.

Who owns the company: I believe its Wassim from Volks running and ebay shop to, as if you compare products (between website and ebay shop), they are all the same.

I can supply some pictures of mine if you would like that??

yep

thebullfrog - December 6th, 2011 at 07:26 PM

To save time, i shall email the photos, so if you want a picture of the steering wheel and the horn adaptor PM me with your email address

To furhter suggest it might be wassim from Volks. Both places have wire transfers as ANZ bank

yes finish and fitment were what i was looking for.... they dont show any pics with the wheel bound in the leather so i was also wondering how it looks/feels when bound...

it is the same company, i just used the e-bay link as it saw it there first....

cheers..

As I've said: Feel and look is great, the black and beige face's can be easily swapped and feel great.

Fitment wise: some lub and it would go on (im not putting it on as its staying in my room out of harms way).

PM me your email address and i'll send a stack of photos. What year vw and model do you have?

Classisc.....but i think my dub will treat me for more years of service. Too young for a hip partner (already been there, had it) anyway, then got rid of it.

What do you guys think of the wheel? I like the black off the car, but i think the beige will suit it when its on the car.
