That's about the size of a starter motor of the diesels I work on.

No kidding.
3L is just a baby diesel.
The 4x4 diesels your average soccer mums try to drive over the top of everyone with are bigger than that.


If I'm not mistaken those even look like bug front indicators mounted to the sides there.
